Zach was born in Eastern North Carolina and attended college at the Virginia Military Institute. After completing a Bachelors degree in Human Biology he entered the U.S. Army in 2011 as an Infantry officer. Graduating U.S. Army Ranger School in 2012, he went on to lead Soldiers and deploy to Afghanistan, Kosovo, Iraq, and Syria. In 202

Graduating U.S. Army Ranger School in 2012, he went on to lead Soldiers and deploy to Afghanistan, Kosovo, Iraq, and Syria. In 2022 he resigned from the Army to pursue ministry after completing three Infantry Company commands. Zach and Rachel married in 2017 and have been blessed by God with three beautiful children with a fouth due in June 2025. Zach was saved at the age of six, baptized at age 21.

Rachel was born in Oregon and lived most of her life in the rolling farm hills of Wisconsin. Number four of 11 children, Rachel spent the first eight yearsof her life without running water or electricity on her father's subsistence farm. She helped her family farm from her todler years into being a young girl. Saved at the age of 16 and b
Rachel was born in Oregon and lived most of her life in the rolling farm hills of Wisconsin. Number four of 11 children, Rachel spent the first eight yearsof her life without running water or electricity on her father's subsistence farm. She helped her family farm from her todler years into being a young girl. Saved at the age of 16 and baptized at age 18. After meeting an overly confident young Army officer visiting from Colorado in 2012, a long distance four year courtship began. It culminated in 2016 when she accepted Zach's statement of love and consumated in 2017 when they wed. She has summited 14,000ft mountains, trekked Alaskan glaciers, holds local 5k race awards, and has given birth to three beautiful children completely naturally in her home. She is passionate about women's minstries, supporting expecting mothers, and educating young children.
